Black Stallion Winery is located in the Oak Knoll District, a grape growing region in the southern half of the Napa Valley. The name Black Stallion pays homage to the rich history of the 32 acre estate which was once home to the Silverado Horseman’s Center. Black Stallion Winery is part of a family business. The Indelicato Family has a grape growing and wine making history that spans three generations and more than 85 years.
The interior of the winery is breathtaking with high ceilings, stone fireplace, and private rooms for events. The warm and welcoming visitor center is spacious with ample room for wine tasting. In the summer months, the winery opens its outdoor terrace for tastings and special events. Gourmet flatbread pizza and wine pairings are offered on weekends at $20.00 per person as well as Wine and Dessert pairings for $15.00. Black Stallion Winery has a casual atmosphere and prides itself on providing guests with friendly and gracious hospitality. In addition, Black Stallion offers unique displays of gift items as well. Black Stallion Winery offers a perfect balance of white wines and red wines as well as Rosé and Muscat. Most of the wines at Black Stallion Winery are crafted in very small case lots and are available only at the winery. At Black Stallion winery guests can taste seriously great wines in a fun and relaxed atmosphere making it a perfect wine tasting experience for people new to wine as well as the seasoned wine drinker.
