V Marketplace, Napa Valley’s most beautiful and inviting specialty retail complex located in the world renowned epicurean hamlet of Yountville, surrounded by lush picnic gardens, cobblestone walkways and beautiful water features was originally one of the first wineries in the Napa Valley. Groezinger Winery was built in 1870 and continued operating as a winery until 1955. The lovely old buildings were destined to be sold and torn down for the price of their bricks. A small group of visionaries purchased the property and restored it as a home to specialty and craft retailers in 1968.
Four decades later the tradition of retail excellence continues. Visitors will find a collection of unique specialty shops that include clothing for men, women and children, an inviting home and garden shop, gift shops that offer a range of items from simple souvenirs to romantic bedding and the flagship store NapaStyle. V Marketplace has three distinctive art galleries that offer fine art, photography, sculptures, glass art, jewelry and more. Wine lovers will find one of the most complete wine cellars in the valley, offering a choice of an inviting tasting bar, cozy lounge or a relaxing patio where one can experience the world of wine with expert advice from a knowledgeable staff.
Centered in the foodie mecca of Napa Valley, V Marketplace has various wine country eateries from casual burger and Panini cafes, extravagant hand-made chocolates and Emmy-award winning Chef Michael Chiarellol's much touted rustic farm-to-table Italian cuisine restaurant Bottega.
