| The Pink Mansion was built in Calistoga's 19th century heyday. Its large parlor and crystal chandeliers recall the grand parties given here by its first owner, William F. Fisher, for visiting dignitaries and townspeople alike. Fisher built this landmark in the 1870's on land given to him by Calistoga's founder, Sam Brannan. A pioneer and adventurer himself, Fisher established Calistoga's first stage line, linking the town with mining sites on Mt. St. Helena and points north. Today the Pink Mansion stands less than 3 blocks from downtown Calistoga with its shops, restaurants, spas, and much more.Napa Valley boasts 150 wineries and over 50 are within biking distance. Many wineries provide picturesque picnic areas, and we are happy to arrange a picnic lunch order upon request. Calistoga itself is ideally situated among the famous wine districts of Napa and Sonoma counties. And is only a little more than an hour drive to the Pacific Ocean, the magnificent Redwoods, or the city of San Francisco. AMENITIES - A private bath with each room
